| The Portage Amateur Radio Club owns and operates two repeaters under the club call sign KB8ZHP in Ravenna Ohio. A 2 Meter repeater system operating on 145.39 Mhz. and a 70 cm repeater operating on 442.875 Mhz. Both of the repeaters are open repeaters for use by anyone who wishes to use them. | ||
| The 2 meter repeater provides coverage for Portage county
and parts of Cuyahoga, Stark, Summit, Geauga, Trumbull, and
Mahoning counties. This system is used for our weekly
emergency
training net and also has autopatch capabilities for use by the
club members
The 440 repeater is for local area coverage. | ||
